FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — A regional energy company today announced a new partnership aimed at expanding solar and wind capacity across three states over the next five years.
The agreement includes joint investment in new generation facilities as well as upgrades to existing transmission infrastructure to support the additional capacity.
“This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to a reliable, lower-carbon energy future for the communities we serve,” said the company’s chief executive in a prepared statement.
The first projects under the partnership are expected to begin construction within the next twelve months.
